When I take a step back and look at all of the people who contribute to making our vision of Food with Purpose a reality, I feel inspired. Food with Purpose is Eurest’s platform that supports our holistic approach to the way we integrate wellness and sustainability into everything we do – from how we source our ingredients to the focus we put on waste reduction. I know we are making a difference for our associates, our guests and our planet!
We are building a community that is striving to change our culture to be more mindful of what we eat and what we waste – and as a result, we are able to have a greater impact on human and environmental health.
You may have seen Food with Purpose in your marketplace pointing you to better-for-you options or informing you about the local produce we’re serving, but it’s so much more than just a signage program. You want to know what makes Food with Purpose so special? It’s our chefs and registered dietitians. The way we collaborate to use the best local, seasonal and responsibly sourced ingredients with a key focus on reducing food waste bring power to our platform. We work together to make food fun and meaningful at all levels of our business.
We are finding better solutions every day through:
- simple ingredients and retail items
- menus and scratch cooking recipe development
- culinary expertise with a passion for regional and global cuisine
- science-based nutrition and data trend insights
- monthly education focuses through our promotions
- events such as Chef’s Tables, Lunch and Learns, Teaching Kitchens, and podcasts
- Business partnerships and community outreach
I am grateful to so many people for helping us make a difference on our journey of simple ingredients and sourcing that are good for you and good for the planet because what we serve really does matter.
