This month we’ll be focusing on Low Food Waste in our marketplaces! Did you know 90% of us throw away food too soon, in fact, each of us tosses nearly 300 pounds of food each year! To avoid causing more waste and throwing out your whole grain breads, vegetables, and fruits try freezing them. Freezing food does not cause them to lose any of their nutrients or make them less healthy (as long as nothing else is added like sugar or salt). Freeze your berries and reuse them in a berry smoothie or in one of our delicious superfood recipes being featured this month!
