We are proud that so many diverse people with unique backgrounds, stories and experiences make up our Eurest family – including those who are part of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer or LGBTQ+ community.
As a hospitality industry leader, we believe in preparing a table where everyone has a seat and feels they are accepted, valued and can be their true selves. That is why we are proud to celebrate Pride Month during the month of June as part of our Better Together Series and in support of our LGBTQ+ associates always.

BRUCE KERNEY
I was born at the end of an era when people believed and taught that it was better to be someone you are not than to be your authentic self. I was fortunate to have a few older precious friends who could show me the way. Click here for more about Bruce.

DAVID LOBBAN

Growing up in the heart of the bible belt while being gay almost guaranteed that I would be an outcast. When I started working as a dishwasher at 16, it became clear to me that people would treat me differently, not only for being gay but for being a dishwasher. That made me determined to treat every other human being with love and respect, as an equal, no matter their race, gender, age, education or life experiences. Click here for more about David.

EMILY ROY
Sports have always played a significant role in shaping who I am, particularly basketball. The closeness of my team, camaraderie, and unity made it so simple for me to be who I was. Everyone viewed me as Emily, an amazing basketball player and teammate, and not by my sexuality. Click here for more about Emily.
