Instructions
Crack eggs into a bowl and scramble.
Mix with alfredo sauce and half and half.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut French bread into ½" cubes and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Crisp in oven for 3-4 minutes but make sure that it does not get brown.
Wash Swiss chard and pat dry, steam and squeeze out excess liquid. Slice into thin strips.
Heat oil in a large sauté pan, add garlic and onion, and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
Remove from heat and add chopped Swiss chard, nutmeg, and parmesan cheese and mix until combined.
Spray muffin pans and divide cubed bread into 8 sections and press down slightly.
Pour ¼ c of strata base into each muffin tin and allow the bread to soak up the mixture for about 20 minutes before baking.
Place in oven and bake for 12-16 minutes or until set. Cool slightly before removing each piece from the muffin pan. Serve Hot.
Notes
May substitute olive or canola oil.
