Restaurantware Plants One on Us

April 22, 2025

Doing good while doing business – that’s how we describe our relationship with Restaurantware, an innovative leader in eco-friendly packaging solutions.

If you’ve tasted Eurest’s food or sweet treats at a catered event, you’ve likely been served with a Restaurantware dish or utensil. What you may not know is that with every order we place, Restaurantware plants one tree.

That’s amounted to more than 18,000 trees planted from Eurest alone since the program’s launch in 2021.

Through Veritree, a nature-based technology solution, Restaurantware works directly with tree farmers to support climate resilience and aid reforestation efforts in areas that have an outsized impact on the world’s biodiversity and ecosystem.

For example, trees are planted in Brazil’s mangroves, home to more than 15% of the world’s biodiversity. Additionally, longleaf pine trees are planted in Florida, where more than 30+ endangered species have been identified.

“Small changes have a huge impact,” says Michael Moore, Chief Sustainability Officer at Restaurantware. “We’re not just planting trees – we’re helping people fight poverty and food insecurity. That’s change that matters.”

Restaurantware continues to demonstrate that business success and social impact can go hand in hand. Through sustainable product innovation and purposeful giving, the company redefines what it means to be a responsible industry leader.

This collaboration is one way Eurest plants the seeds for lasting change, by partnering with organizations that share our commitment to supporting both people and planet.
