Food With Purpose Change Maker: Emily Wunder
Our Food with Purpose Change Makers embody the key principles and focus areas of our wellness and sustainability platform, continuously working for the good of people and planet. They help people make better nutrition choices, work to source sustainably, lessen our carbon impact and reduce waste.
We’re pleased to recognize Regional Wellness Director Emily Wunder as our first Change Maker honoree.
Collaborating with her client team at SAP, Emily helps support important client objectives like sustainable and reusable packaging, plant-forward menu engineering, and supporting guest education of sustainable, healthy-living practices.
Emily’s accomplishments include the launch of the 30-Day Challenge, a wellness and sustainability program designed to help clients and guests take the next step on their health and wellness journey. This program offers a range of content including recipes, videos, articles, Chef tips, and Dietitian facts, all accessible here.
Emily also regularly uses data from our proprietary waste tracking system, Waste Not 2.0, to help the account’s culinary team to improve and find solutions to reduce waste, creating training materials that have become best practices for Eurest.
“Emily embodies not only the SAP purpose-driven culture but lives our Compass Group and Eurest commitment to help our guests and clients achieve their sustainability goals through our wellness offerings, great food responsibly sourced, and an exceptional passion for a hospitality-driven service culture,” says Vice President of Operations Maggie Rafferty.
