Changing the Way We Think About Healthy Eating
Through her hands-on approach, Wellness Manager Jessica Brasher is reshaping the way guests and clients view food—turning healthy eating from something people might resist into something desirable and enjoyable.
In early 2025, she partnered with her client to make a significant impact at Chevron’s Institute for Health and Productivity Management (IHPM) event where she shared practical tips on nutrition and educated her audience on how stress can influence health.
Her key message to attendees was to “shift mindsets from ‘restricting’ to ‘adding’ with a focus on adding nutrient-rich options the body needs.” This powerful advice encouraged participants to embrace a positive approach to nutrition by focusing on what they can add to their diets rather than what they need to cut.
In addition to her valuable guidance, guests experienced functional nutrition firsthand. Jessica introduced digestive-boosting energy shots featuring turmeric, ginger, beets, and cucumber—ingredients known for their gut health and digestive benefits. These energy shots not only provided a wellness boost but also served as a flavorful introduction to functional nutrition.
Jessica has also been instrumental in incorporating functional ingredients into Eurest’s Food with Purpose programming, including the National Nutrition Month seasonal promotion, Build a Better Bowl.
Her passion for plant-forward eating shines through in her work. She is dedicated to making nutritious foods accessible and enjoyable, stating, “If I can make food more fun and get people to enjoy it instead of seeing it as the enemy, that’s a win.”
In recognition of National Nutrition Month, Eurest is pleased to honor Jessica Brasher as the March 2025 Food with Purpose Change Maker. National Nutrition Month focuses on raising awareness about the importance of nutrition education, and Jessica is dedicated to helping others make better nutrition choices and live healthier lives.
