TEAM PARTNERS WITH OIL & GAS CLIENT TO DONATE THOUSANDS OF MEALS

Teams at an oil and gas client location in Houston, TX donated 134,320 meals between 2020 and August 2023, with an impressive 26,285 meals contributed in 2023 alone. These client-sponsored meals included items like sandwiches, chips, snacks, water, and some hot meals, were sent to the Houston Foodbank to support two local facilities.

“It feels great to feed our paying customers, but it gives us a deep sense of meaning and purpose to nourish those in need in our community,” says District Manager Paul Gimmler.

CHARITABLE PARTNERSHIP FEEDS FOOD INSECURE FAMILIES IN CHARLOTTE COMMUNITY

Our Eurest team supporting a major financial client is partnering with a local non-profit, The Bulb, to address food insecurity in Charlotte, NC. Every Friday, the team meets with the partner to provide them with food donations to ensure that leftover products find their way to nearby shelters. As of late 2023, they have proudly donated nearly 800 items, making a significant impact in the local area.

NOURISHING FOOD INSECURE COMMUNITIES IN THE 10TH HUNGRIEST STATE IN THE NATION

In partnership with a health insurance client in Durham, North Carolina, Executive Chef Michael Mahony and Director of Dining Services James Knicos led the Eurest team in providing nearly 24,000 donated meals in the first half of 2023 to support communities in Chatham, Durham, Granville, Orange, and Wake counties. Our collaborative commitment is benefiting one biggest metro areas of North Carolina, the 10th hungriest state in the nation, with 1.6 million households living with food insecurity.

EUREST SUPPORTS SPECIAL OLYMPICS

Since 2018, the Eurest team and their families have volunteered and supported Special Olympics at a real estate investment and management firm in Framingham, MA.

The Special Olympics takes place in the parking lot of the company, and the Eurest team sets up a big BBQ afterward for the athletes to celebrate. Adding to the Special Olympic events, the same team began a hat drive in 2022. Throughout the winter months, the Eurest team collects donated hats and brings them to a shelter in Worcester, MA.

EASTERN DIVISION TEAM SUPPORTS MOBILE HOPE

In August 2023, members of Eurest Mid-Atlantic Region volunteered for a Parisian-themed fundraiser at Mobile Hope, a nonprofit in Northern Virginia supporting at-risk and homeless youth. The event, “Une Nuit a Paris,” brought together top donors and youth beneficiaries to share stories and the impact Mobile Hope has made on them. This event was held at Mobile Hope’s thrift store, Graffiti & Silk, where all items sold are recycled and all proceeds fund Mobile Hope’s programs to empower homeless and at-risk youth and build food security.

FOOD RECOVERY AT LEXMARK

At the recent opening of a manufacturing client located in Lexington, KY, the Eurest team, led by Chef Manager Andrea Hoff, had the opportunity to donate 5 pallets of paper products and one pallet of frozen food to the Hope Center. The Hope Center helps persons who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless with a wide array of services from food, shelter and clothing to treatment and employment assistance, and so much more.

EUREST TEAM PROVIDES HOT MEALS TO GRASSROOTS CRISIS CENTER

Since October 2022, the Eurest team, in collaboration with a talent solutions client, has actively supplied hot meals to the Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center. This shelter located in Howard County, MD is dedicated to behavioral health, crisis intervention, and homeless services.

The group meets with the client monthly to meticulously plan and prepare hot and non-perishable meals for more than 60 individuals in need. Eurest’s expert guidance, which includes recipe selection, food procurement, and instruction in safe food handling, empowers the client to participate by preparing and assembling these nourishing meals effectively.

HYDRATION STATION KEEPS WALKERS FUELED

Eurest Manager Anthony Buccilli and his team collaborated with their software client to establish a hydration station for participants in a Move-a-thon in Ohio. Gift baskets and a one-on-one cooking class with Anthony were offered as raffle prizes. The initiative raised more than $16,000 for the client’s software scholarship program and facilitated the establishment of a strong partnership with the client’s DEI leadership committee.

These partnerships extend beyond simply offering products; they are driven by a shared commitment to values such as diversity, equity, and inclusion.
